Thailand Exchange Program! Cross Posted in Private Blog!

Things turned out pretty badly. I didn't know it's so soon. We'll see.

Greetings! It's finally holiday!!! My November Holidays are coming to an end, time cruises like no body's business. Thanks to the jumpstart programs in school, it occupied 3/4 of my whole November Holidays... Sigh... and preparation for the prefects workshop and all those shitful activities which had totally drained my energy and my dynamics for vacation, festivals, and (lol) shopping around town. Now I have still left with like what, one more month to be bore myself shitless before the so-called final battle commences. O LEVELSSssss, like wadever, seniors, I know you completed them so shutup. LOL.

I will be releasing an avalanche of photos taken during my Thailand Trip with the school in this entry!!! *Excited*

Before that, lemme post my End of year's results up. Please do not mock at me okay? *Rollseyes*

NOW FOR THAILAND TRIP PHOTOS! (trip as in, trip, not fall down that trip. LOL)

An overview of the whole trip;

I think I had a really really great time at Thailand. There were a good mix of fun, excitment and learning opportunity. My first time going abroad without my family, my first time doing voluntary work which brought much joy to myself and my first time realising so much about my peers around me. Gotta really thank the teachers for organising this trip. Besides widening my mind for things beyond Singapore, I managed to hog a sense of satisfaction and to bring back much fond memories.

Some of the awful food and stupid tongue infection aside, I made realisation in lots of things. The shopping sensation was great (except that it was too rushed), the trip to do our Community Service was fulfilling and really, I've learnt that many of my peers make good companions.

Day 1- On the SIA plane!

On the airpot (LOL, port) with Suhaila and Zalinahhhh....!!

Preparing to board on plane!

Before take- off... Mr Tan has a phobia for heights, or was it the camera?

LOL... Ernest looks so brattish here.

=.= That's not my camera btw, Zalinah's one... But, can teachers just stop acting cute infront of small meimeis. Insufferable, LOL!

Suhaila with her superb cam-whoring tehnique.

Plane's food wasn't nice, bah... and Mr Quek and Zuopeng sat beside me for 2 hours before arriving at Thailand. Oh forget mention, that the consoles infront of the seats were totally, cool. Like, got some retractable wires so that you can adjust the remote controller, and a wide variety of games, movies and radio stations to choose from. Cool until can die, like, I'm a total mountain tortoise?

Boarded the travel coach after checking out of the plane. Can we even check out? LOL.

Day 2- Royal Grand Palace, MBK shopping spree!

Breakfast at Newworld Lodge Hotel... this hotel sucked full time... not gonna say why, but it really sucked. Amanda, Shihong, Zuopeng, Bryan, me, Ellen. Find the order yourself... Everyone had to wear formal clothing initially, but the requirement changed the last minute. So fuck, I wore like a shirt and a long black demin pants, when others wore comfy polotees.

Pretty lotus-sy flowers.

Grand entrance of the grand palace.

Behold the majestic royal palace.

LOL, and the poor soldier thing.

TWIST!

Miss Swan, more retardness~

Then we went shopping at around 3 plus at Bangkok's BIGGEST Shopping Mall. MAH BOON KRONGGGGGGGGggggggggggggggggg!!! The things there (Besides those at tokyu department store) cheap until can die. I bought like more than 8 pieces of shirts, 4 shorts and plenty of others. Yay!!!

Day 3- Community Involvement!!

Cursed. Totally. You wouldn't believe what we did for our CIP for Thailand. Lol, what did you Singapore lesbians do for your CIP in school ar, I ask. Pick litter, visit old folks home... Like, go kill yourselves, coz....

Bahhh. It's Thailand, my darling, plus 3 more degrees celsius than that of Singapore. LLLLLAaaaaa~~

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Look at my screwed up face.. wad deh helll. I had plastic surgery on my nose in Thailand and the doctor went ahead to fix my face as well.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
It wasn't a bad experience afterall. Thank you for giving me a very very nice tan. I appreciate it.

Then we went to the Mercy Centre Orphanage, to bring joy, fun and softtoys to the young orphans being settled inside. They, are, really, adorable, like me.

I wonder why would their parents abandon and neglect those poor children. I mean, those kids deserve our sympathy just solely because, we don't live in such harsh reality. The feeling of being totally devoid of love, is so much unbearable. I wonder how these kids weather through their childhood when some of them are Aids carrier, some were abused, some were simply neglected.

Everything they hold in the Orphanage has to be returned. That's why when we were about to leave the orphanage, these children turned to us with their gleaming eyes and returned the softtoys, because nothing in the orphanage belongs to them so they are accustomed to returning toys. So heartfelt... I think I'm gonna cry. Innocence... sigh. I lost it dunnoe since when...
